The Britannia Heritage Shipyards is an eight-acre historic park with nine colorful heritage buildings. The Shipyard is the place to see proud old fishing boats, go on a scavenger hunt and learn about the history of fishing in Steveston. Being the oldest remaining structure on the Fraser River , the former Britannia Cannery and Shipyard has been recognized as a National Historic Site.
